Several years ago, a boutique hotel, The Whitney, opened on this site. Converted from historic mill buildings, the hotel featured exposed brick walls and timber structure in the rooms, and views of St. Anthony Falls. The hotel was a smash hit among visiting celebrities, but, alas, Minneapolis, wonderful as it is, is not as celebrity-infested as Hollywood and New York. So The Whitney was re-converted into these luxury condominiums with a variety of plans, in sizes ranging from 900-4,300 square feet of floor area.
